Dear Friend,

I am running for State Senate because now more than ever we need a conservative representing us at the State Legislature. Our state government has faced budget deficits of several hundred million dollars. Some politicians would like to raise your taxes in order to fund even more government. And many politicians are pushing to open our borders and threaten our security by giving amnesty to illegal aliens.

In the Legislature, I will fight for the conservative values we share. I will fight to lower taxes, protect your constitutional rights, and promote traditional family values. I will also oppose liberal attempts to give driver’s licenses to illegal aliens and use your tax dollars to provide them with more services.

I believe that leadership is doing what is right, not what is politically convenient or easy. Too many politicians will tell you one thing only when they are looking for your vote, only to do something entirely different when they are elected. As your next State Senator, you have my word that I will never compromise my conservative beliefs or principles to appease liberal special interests.

With your support, we can put a stop to liberal attempts to raise taxes, weaken our immigration laws, and promote homosexual marriage. But I need your help. Most importantly, I ask for your prayers as we begin this important journey towards Election Day. Second, I ask that you help spread our shared conservative vision by telling your friends and family about this campaign. Finally, I respectfully ask you to vote for me in the Republican primary for State Senator.
