Dear Fellow Republican,

Those of us privileged to hold public office know all too well the challenges that await even the strongest of us. The principles our nation was founded upon are under attack and our Constitutional freedoms face constant erosion. Special interests want to spend your tax dollars on projects that benefit the few at the expense of the many. These same special interests and their allies continue to advance a liberal agenda that places at risk our freedom and our values. That is why we need good and principled individuals to take up the challenge and volunteer to serve.

I am writing this letter to you today to tell you about just such a man, my friend Ron Gould. I have known Ron as a good and decent man, someone who holds dear concepts of freedom and liberty and someone who cherishes the traditional American values that you and I share.

Ron has championed your interests as a City Councilman and I am delighted and excited that Ron is willing to continue his fight at the State Legislature.

We need more good people like Ron Gould if we are to restore the principles and integrity of our public institutions. I hope and pray that you will join me in supporting Ron's efforts and look forward to celebrating together Ron's election as your next State Senator.
